With over 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. Surjeet Kumar is a distinguished Kidney Transplant, GI & Laparoscopic Surgeon. Having performed more than 5000 successful kidney transplants, he has contributed to some of India’s leading transplant centers, including AIIMS, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, and Park Group of Hospitals, Gurugram. To serve needy patients, he took initiative and established kidney transplant programs in tier 2 cities and also trained young surgeons as a mentor. Currently serving as Director of Kidney Transplant Surgery at Park Group of Hospitals, Gurugram, Dr. Surjeet Kumar has led the development of advanced kidney transplant programs across multiple centers, making specialized care accessible to Indian and international patients from countries like Cambodia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Kenya, and Uzbekistan. He is experienced in both ABO compatible and incompatible transplants as well as complex cases. His expertise also includes dialysis access surgeries, advanced GI surgery, laparoscopic & robotic procedures, and laser proctology. Dr. Surjeet Kumar is a life member of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) and is dedicated to saving lives and mentoring future surgeons.
